Subject & composition

The foundation of every great painting lies in its subject and composition. Whether a single portrait, a dynamic equestrian scene, or a detailed group study, we collaborate with you to refine the vision—discussing setting, pose, and overall mood to create a piece that is both timeless and deeply personal.

We welcome high-quality reference images and can advise on how best to capture the essence of your subject. If circumstances allow, and with the appropriate budget and scheduling, we are happy to arrange a photoshoot to ensure the perfect reference for your commission.
